Gan Eden Landscapes are dedicated to ‘creating your paradise’ with innovative ideas and solutions in commercial and residential landscaping and garden maintenance, serving the Kalgoorlie-Boulder region.
We are entirely locally owned and operated and we specialise in the establishment of environmentally friendly ‘waterwise’ gardens, selecting only the most reliable, hardy, native & non-native plants, that will thrive in the climatic and soil conditions of each garden with a maintenance level suited to the client, also, utilising and promoting the need for suitable materials, such as coarse mulches and cost saving irrigation drip systems endorsed by the Water Corporation, suitable for the semi arid WA Goldfields climate.
Our objective is to create beautiful and inviting outdoor ‘rooms’ that are calming and pleasurable retreats, yet are energising, low maintenance and promote a combination of aesthetically pleasing scenery as well as a feel good factor. We also specialise in renovating older, more established gardens that may have long since lost their appeal and interest.
We provide a friendly, flexible and professional approach focused on customer service and attention to detail. We offer sound advice and assistance to clients on a consultation basis on how they can achieve their ideals and plans whilst adopting sustainable environmental practices and cost effectiveness.
As ever increasing water restrictions stipulate the need for environmentally sustainable gardens and water conservation, we work in harmony with the existing natural resources, climate and wildlife habitats when constructing and maintaining gardens. We manage and enhance using the highest quality workmanship and materials, run by a skilled and qualified tradesperson whilst adhering to strict professional standards and reliability.
Gan Eden Landscapes is managed by Lee Mullen, a qualified horticulturist with 20 years experience and 4 years academic qualifications in horticulture and holding a broad area of horticultural expertise and knowledge.
The word ‘Gan’ is Hebrew for ‘garden’ and ‘Eden’ is translated as meaning ‘paradise’ or ‘heaven’ in this ancient language of the Bible and the people of modern Israel.
Lee was previously involved in managing grounds of large properties from the government sector to private residencies in his native United Kingdom as well as being a project leader and coordinator working for not-for-profit organisations in Western Australia with people with intellectual disabilities and the socially disadvantaged on horticultural contracts and initiatives.
He also writes articles on plants and garden practices for various local and national media publications and has been involved with gardening related programs on regional radio. He also takes a great personal interest in propagation and growing of unusual plants, including succulents, cacti, bromeliads, palms and tropical’s and has even named his own garden, ‘Gan Eden’ in honour of the Creator.
